relays and contactors

The relay is a high-speed electrical switch that is actuated by a separate electrical circuit and contacts have two statuses: open and close. The coil of this electric switch is stimulated in various ways such as mechanical, thermal, magnetic, electrostatic, etc.  It is used when someone wants to control the circuit with a weak signal, such as turning on an electric motor or manage several different elements in the electrical panel.
