Yarrow

It is an herbaceous and one-year-old plant with right stems and branches of heights of 25 to 60 cm, which grows in the (Mediterranean) regions and most parts of Iran. This plant has a yellowish green color with long petiole and flowers integrated into long clusters on the edge of the leaves. Its grain is almost spherical and smooth. Flowering branches of this plant have a special odor because of their essential oil. Shepherd musk is used in common medicine as a phlegm and for that it has been cited as an anticonvulsant, invigorating and soothing effect of shortness of breath.
